AGS is a global gaming supplier working across slots, table products, interactive and cabinets, in business since 2005. Its own milestone timeline starts with American Gaming Systems being founded in 2005 around Class II slot machines for tribal markets, followed by an Apollo Global Management acquisition in 2013, the Cadillac Jack and RocketPlay acquisitions in 2015, an IPO in 2018 and a return to private ownership under Brightstar Capital Partners in 2025. Its portfolio spans Class II, Class III and HHR slots across four cabinet families - Spectra, Revel, Orion and Big Red - with Orion Portrait cited as its first proprietary slot cabinet in 2017 and Revel as its first mechanical reel cabinet in 2024. The company states more than 900 employees across 14 offices in nine countries.
