Light & Wonder is the company formerly known as Scientific Games, renamed in 2022 after divesting its lottery and sports-betting arms. Its land-based catalogue absorbs three of the biggest names in slot history — Bally, WMS and SHFL — so a single L&W cabinet may run maths and titles that shipped under any of those brands. It is the closest thing IGT has to a peer in installed base.
